Welcome to Cathy’s Prom, a site dedicated to the safety of you and your friends at prom.  If Cathy Isford had survived the evening of her senior prom, she would be here, urging you not to make the same mistake.

But she didn’t survive prom.  Ecstasy killed her.  Not “bad” Ecstasy – at least 37 other kids took Ecstasy at her prom, many taking the same kind she did.  Not an overdose of Ecstasy – she took the same two-tablet dose others took.    Not a mix of Ecstasy and alcohol – alcohol didn’t even show up in her hospital lab tests.  No, it was just plain Ecstasy that killed Cathy.
